My laboratory investigations were centered on finding new treatments in cancer.
Specifically, we have examined:

DNA repair inhibitors vis-à-vis cancer drug resistance.

Combi-molecules of c-abl inhibitors with alkylating agents in CLL.

PI3K inhibitors in the treatment of CLL including their mechanism of action.

Probing the effect and molecular mechanism of combined inhibition of the ATR and PARP pathways in irinotecan drug resistance in colon cancer models.

In collaboration with Dr Sleiman examining in-vivo delivery of micelles to carry drugs and siRNAs.

Parp3 inhibitors with chemotherapy.
I have participated in many clinical trials including being editor of two books DNA repair in Cancer Therapy and Advances in DNA repair in Cancer Therapy.
More recently, I have published 2 novels: Médecin Empoisonneur, which was translated into English The Poison Doctor, and The Lost American Dream. He is working on a third novel called Baron Von Steuben and the Underground Railroad. His novels are inspired by reading short stories of Anton Chekhov.
